The fish aboard the Chinese space station are behaving very strangely

The main objective of the experiment is to study the effects of weightlessness on highly evolved living beings over a long period of time. Back in 2021, Japanese astronauts discovered a decrease in bone density in fish sent to the ISS – the same as in humans. The taikonauts intend to spend several breeding seasons with the fish to study how gravity will affect the vertebrae of the fish as they develop from fry.
