At the same time, the researchers found that those with the lowest intake of ultra-processed food had a 4% lower risk of death compared to those with the highest intake rates. Ultra-processed meat, poultry and seafood had the highest risk of death, while beverages, desserts and meals with sugar and sweeteners were the second most dangerous.
