What is the animated series ‘Terminator Zero’?
The series will show events taking place in two time periods: in 1997, when the infamous artificial intelligence Skynet, having gained self-awareness, declared war on humanity, and in 2022 – in the ongoing third decade of the war between the remnants of the resistance and the powerful army of machines. A female soldier journeys from a dystopian future to 1997 to protect Malcolm Lee, a scientist developing a new AI system that can stand up to Skynet. As Malcolm struggles to resolve the moral dilemmas surrounding his creation, he is hunted by an unrepentant killer from the future, whose efforts will change the fate of the scientist’s three children forever.
